The Capital High School Dance Team is one of the premier dance teams in the state and our team includes 16

athletes from the local community. Throughout the year we perform at high school pep assemblies, football, and basketball games, while also proudly representing our community by performing at various local events and competing at the District, State, and National level.

This past year the Cougarette Dance Team continued to adapt with virtual and in-person competitions

through the spring of 2021. We brought home our 5th State Championship winning the Washington State Dance & Drill Coaches Association (WSDDCA) 3A Pom Category! We also went on to bring home our FIRST NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP, winning the USA SPIRIT FIGHT SONG category!

We are a dedicated team that is committed to excellence and works hard. We continually strive to advance our skill level to be our best and achieve our goals.

The Cougarette Dance Team athletes are working together to raise the necessary funds to continue our

championship program. We humbly ask for the support of our community, family, and friends via a

monetary donation of any amount.

All donations are greatly appreciated and will go towards the dance team’s strength and technique training, choreography, music, costumes, and travel and lodging expenses for our State and National competition! We are reaching out to you, our neighboring friends, family, and

business owners, to ask for your financial help.
